Tax Credits

Nursery Vouchers

Your employer may give you the opportunity to use nursery vouchers (eg. Computershare, Edenred or Care 4) which can save some families over £2,000 per year.

Nursery Education Funding

All three and four year old children are entitled to 15 hours of FREE Early Years (EY) Entitlement per week, across 38 weeks of the year, funded by the Government and administered by the County Council.

2 Year Old Funding

Some families will be eligible to claim 15 hours per week for their 2 year old as soon as they have reached their 2^nd birthday. Families need to meet the financial criteria set by the government. You may be sent a letter automatically stating your eligibility or please ask for an application form at nursery that states the current criteria.

How can the Free EY Entitlement and 2 year old funding be taken?

At Wellingtons Nurseries, the Free EY Entitlement can be taken as follows:

3 x Half day (8am- 1pm or 1pm -6pm) per week for 38 weeks during term time

3 x Half day (9am to 1pm or 1pm -5pm) per week for 48 weeks of the year (not Christmas or Easter holidays)
